Ayssa and Ryan are CHFA homeowners in Fort Collins. When they decided to buy a home in their community, they learned about steps to homeownership from a CHFA Homebuyer Education Class. The    down payment assistance from CHFA helped the couple to have more cash available to cover the other costs associated with homeownership. Today, they enjoy living and working remotely in a space they have truly made their own.

“The value of homeownership is something that can't really be put into words but it's a wonderful, wonderful feeling,” said Alyssa. “There is so much that comes with homeownership, and it brings us a lot of joy to be able to say that this house is our own and that we've poured our hearts into making it our own.”
