Please join chfareach and the Denver Department of Housing Stability (HOST) for a special webinar announcement.
In this session you will learn about Denver’s new Prioritization Program, which gives prioritized residents a two-week lead when applying for affordable apartments and waiting lists in the city.
Residents get points for such factors as being at risk of displacement, having been previously displaced or generationally displaced, being elderly, living with disabilities, or having children in Denver Public Schools.
This list of applicants is then able to view affordable units on the Affordable Housing Portal. Units will be marketed solely to them for 14 days before opening to the public. Among other benefits, it is hoped the site will become the connector between residents requiring ADA accessible units and properties that have ADA units available.
With a display similar to Apartments.com, properties may advertise on the site at no charge, for all units or a selection of units. New affordable properties will be required to use the site when receiving city gap financing.
The class will be recorded and available to registered participants in the Attendee Hub (https://cvent.me/2m5gnr) until April 30, 2026.
This session is presented at no cost to participants.
