In this in-person session, the Denver Metro Fair Housing Center (DMFHC) presents housing antidiscrimination training. This class reviews protected classes under federal and state Fair Housing law, with a focus on recent state laws and tenant protections. 

We will cover:

· DMFHC’s mission and services;

· the history of the Fair Housing Act;

· protected classes;

· the DMFHC rental audit process;

· examples of housing discrimination;

· reasonable accommodation and modification; and

· Fair Housing enforcement.

This class will not be recorded. 

Fair Housing 101 is presented at no cost to participants.
