Class: 1:00pm to 2:30pm MT
Join us for a foundational training on managing tenant information. We will discuss property access, assets, residents, and systems.
Staff on properties may become accustomed to handling sensitive tenant information and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) including Social Security numbers, birthdates, and bank statements.
It is important to have clear protocols in place to protect both information and assets, especially as pressure and deadlines on the job may distract staff from policies meant to protect confidentiality and property.
This training will cover:
- access controls for physical and digital assets;
- document management and file security;
- Rules of Behavior for EIV and TRACS systems;
- documents provided to tenants;
- reporting improper disclosures; and
- transfer, transportation, and disposal of data.
This training will be recorded and available in the Attendee Hub after the live class. Additionally, the recording will be posted in the Property Management Toolkit by mid-November.
This class is free to all participants.
