By the end of this training you will:
- gain a better understanding and awareness of the history and social determinants of health in the LGBTQIA+ community and how to better serve this population;
- develop strategies to mitigate potential adverse effects of implicit biases and inherent power imbalances; and
- learn better communication styles with clients and coworkers.
